Promote a reputation for Alberta,
Recognizing our future is tied to long term stewardship and protection of the environment and its resources.
Alberta is a resource economy, but these resource extend beyond oil. The provinces long term prosperity is tied in continued investments in the ownership and infrastructure of natural resources and energy. The boom bust cycle took wealth away in waves and left nothing for the Albertans to rebuild upon. The future is an Alberta that invests, not exploits itself.
Making the tenants of wildlife and land of conservation accessible.
Alberta is one of the few places in the world where true wilderness is on the doorstep of modern living. The effective but obtuse systems in place have alienated many who wish to enjoy the outdoors without running afoul of unclear regulations or the dangerously entitled.
Celebrating and protecting the diversity of people and perspectives.
Alberta is a land of nomads and immigrants. With the sheer number of Albertans born here and aboard, there are more than two sides to every story. Some of these perspectives may make others uncomfortable, but taking offence is not the same as deliberately causing harm.
Amplifying indigenous stories as part of a shared history.
Alberta is what we call the traditional and ancestral territory of many peoples, and exists subject to Treaties 6, 7, and 8. While many wish to ignore this fact and the objective horrors which the first nations are subjected to throughout colonization, the truth of the matter is that all settlers continue to benefits from its legacy. Beyond this, we do our developing culture a disservice by not putting indigenous history and stories as the forefront of our shared identity.
Advancing personal liberties while developing our responsibilities as citizens.
Alberta is a place where freedoms are possible so long as they can be utilized responsibly. These freedoms should be expanded in proportion discipline required and consequences delivered for abusing these liberties.
Creating an identity for Albertans beyond diatribe and stereotypes
Alberta is not what many have come to expect. It is more than the texas of the north. It is more than oil country. It is more than ignorance in the backwaters. Singular corrupt voices for too long have long spoken for their own gains while lobbying groups against each other.
Fight stupidity

These positions may be ill advised, hypocritical, controversial, problematic, poorly citied, and ruinous to political aspirations, however- so long as they are honest and affirm courage against fear or strength in the face of weakness we will continue to attack ignorance on initiative.
